Davies and McKenna meet this Wednesday in final match of The Golden Contract.

With British junior welterweight Ohara Davies (21-2, 16 KOs) set to take on Tyrone McKenna (21-1-1, 6 KOs) this Wednesday, in what will be the final match of The Golden Contract tournament, Davies says he no longer believes that McKenna isn’t on his level, but that he’ll be looking to knock him out just the same.

“It’s not personal, it’s just business,” Davies told Sky Sports. “For this fight I get a big bonus if I knock him out! He will get knocked out, definitely. It’s just business. Just like a landlord, I’m coming to collect.”

Davies continues by saying that he feels unbeatable as he’s trained so hard for this fight and that he’s better as an all-around fighter, refining some of the technical aspects of his game. McKenna, however, intends to disrupt Davies plans and take the tournament win.

“Ohara will be very disappointed when he doesn’t get a knockout. I love getting stuck in – taking punches, giving punches. I don’t believe he is strong enough to knock me out. He wants to go for it? We can stand in the centre of the ring, go to war, see who is better conditioned.”

Davies, 28, is most recently coming off a stoppage win over Jeff Ofori in February, while McKenna, 30, took a decision win over Mohamed Mimoune in the same month. Both Davis McKenna will collide live on Sky Sports, with Davies currently holding the lead as the betting favorite.
