Daniel Dubois is set to return in July after today’s win on ESPN+ and BT Sport.

Daniel Dubois returned with a fourth round stoppage of Richard Lartey today at Wembley Arena in London, calling the experience “a learning lesson” after he got into a few real exchanges with the Ghanaian.

“It was what it was. I have to pull throw and I have to show heart and determination,” Dubois (11-0, 10 KO) told iFL TV. “I did go a bit wild and crazy, and we had a bit of an exchange, but it was good. It was a learning lesson. I love a good fight and digging deep within myself. It was exciting.”

Dubois, 21, is expected to return on July 13 at London’s O2 Arena, which could be a fight for the vacant British title against Joe Joyce (8-0, 8 KO), which has been ordered and should be easy to make as both are with Frank Warren. It could also be someone else, and Warren has also talked about a potential Dubois fight with Nathan Gorman (16-0, 11 KO), a fellow young British heavyweight prospect.

“Either one of them can come first,” Dubois said. “They’re not going to be as rugged and rough as (Lartey). I take on all challengers.”
