Tyson Fury maintains his respect for Deontay Wilder, but takes a little dig, too.

Tyson Fury is one of only two men to ever go the distance with Deontay Wilder, and the only man to face Wilder and not be knocked out, as Bermane Stiverne went in twice with Wilder and was knocked out in the first round of their rematch after going 12 with him the first time.

Fury (27-0-1, 19 KO) knows the power of Wilder (41-0-1, 40 KO), too, as he was dropped twice by Wilder last December, including a viral 12th round knockdown that by the laws of man should have been a knockout, except Fury somehow got up and fought back.

With Wilder destroying Dominic Breazeale last night, Fury took a minute to share his reaction to the KO, praising Wilder’s power and predicting that he will KO anyone — except him.

“Well done to Deontay Wilder in knocking out Dominic Breazeale. I got that prediction quite correct. Anyone that wants to go toe-to-toe with Deontay Wilder will have the same fate as Dominic Breazeale and the rest of his 40 other victims.

“Anthony Joshua, you’ll get it, as well. Same thing’ll happen to you, mush. Dillian Whyte, you’ll get it as well. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is the most fearsome, most destructive puncher in the heavyweight division. But it’s just a pity that he had to lose to ‘The Gypsy King.’

ESPN+ main event on June 15, having disregarded a WBC order to face Wilder in a rematch, instead signing a deal with Top Rank.
