Word is that Klitschko finally settled on a deal with DAZN.

Multiple sources are reporting that former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-5, 53 KOs) will end his retirement this spring to return to action on May 25th at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

Reports indicate that Klitschko, 43, has officially agreed to terms with the DAZN streaming service, for what is said to be a three-fight deal. There are different figures being thrown around, but The Sun (via Ukrainian outlet SportArena), suggests the deal is worth around £92M.

The common expectation here is that the third fight of the deal for Klitschko would come against one of the big names in the division (Joshua, Wilder, or Fury), although none of those fight have been guaranteed.

Klitschko hasn’t fought since losing a dramatic fight to Anthony Joshua back in early 2017. After that fight most anticipated a rematch between the heavyweights, but Klitschko instead decided to hang up the gloves following a long career and successful. But like many others, that retirement didn’t stick.

There’s no real way to know exactly how much Klitschko still has left at this point, but I guess we’ll get to use his fight next month as an indicator. So far there’s no word on who Klitschko will be facing in this comeback bid.
