KlowdTV to carry Russian prospect show for U.S. viewers

davtaevsalita.0 - KlowdTV to carry Russian prospect show for U.S. viewers

Apti Davtaev, Umar Salamov, and Aslambek Idigov will be in action.

Three fights from Grozny, Russia, featuring Salita Promotions fighters will be available for U.S. viewers on Thursday, April 18, as KlowdTV will air the fights live and free (kinda) for subscribers (there’s the rub) on their pay-per-view channel.

The show will start at 2:30 pm ET. There is no free trial available to see the fights, you have to subscribe for a month, choosing the premium package option, which will cost you $9.99. So for the most of us, this is a $10 pay-per-view.

The main event will see heavyweight Apti Davtaev (16-0-1, 15 KO) face Brazil’s Pedro Otas (32-4-1, 28 KO), a 41-year-old fighter who has never won outside of his home country, going 0-3 outside of Brazil.

Light heavyweight Umar Salamov (23-1, 17 KO) will face Poland’s Norbert Dabrowski (22-7-2, 9 KO). Salamov is a legit prospect, his loss coming in a close fight on the road in Australia against Damien Hooper, who is himself a talented fighter.

The third fight will feature super middleweight Aslambek Idigov (15-0, 7 KO), who will take on Ronny Landaeta (16-1, 10 KO), a Venezuelan-born fighter now based in Spain.
