It was originally scheduled for the 8th

The purse bid for Sergey Kovalev’s WBO-mandated title fight with Anthony Yarde, originally scheduled for this upcoming Monday, April 8th, will now take place on April 15th per a request from Kovalev promoter Kathy Duva.

This suggests that Duva has faith that the two sides can reach an agreement, with the (un?)intentional side effect of making Yarde’s (18-0, 17 KO) team look like bigger jerks for wasting time if they do intend to bail out. I mean, it would probably be the right move, as Yarde has yet to fight anyone even remotely comparable to Kovalev (33-3-1, 28 KO), but it would still be lame.

Per WBO rules, the split will be 75/25 if the fight takes place in the champion’s home country and 80/20 otherwise, with a minimum bid of $300,000. Duva wants to hold it on June 1st in Kovalev’s native Chelyabinsk.

If everything does wind up collapsing, the next-highest ranked WBO contender is Dominic Boesel.
