Prograis simply outclassed Relikh and and broke him down in six rounds.

Regis Prograis (24-0, 20 KOs) put on a thoroughly dominating performance tonight on DAZN, thrashing Kiryl Relikh (23-3, 19 KOs) in the World Boxing Super Series’ semifinals and taking Relikh’s WBA 140lb title. Prograis officially stopped Relikh at 1:36 of Round 6.

Prograis came out quick, flashing his jab and stabbing down to the body while utilizing good head movement to completely befuddle Relikh. Then, late in the opening round, Prograis landed a nasty counter left uppercut to the liver of Relikh, which put him down immediately.

With the win Prograis punched his ticked to the World Boxing Super Series finals against the winner of Josh Taylor vs. Ivan Baranchyk. In the post-fight interview Prograis explicitly declared that no other 140lb fighter in the world could fuck with him, and that he hopes to face Taylor in the finals because there are people out there who actually believe that Taylor can beat him. That’s a can’t miss match-up if it comes to pass.
