The consensus is that the fight wasn’t competitive.
Tyson Fury’s easy win over Tom Schwarz didn’t produce a ton of Twitter reaction, but there is some from those in the sport, so let’s have at it with everyone’s favorite feature.
Below you’ll see Dillian Whyte unimpressed, Dave Allen a mixed bag, and more. Generally everyone agrees that the fight was short and easy for Fury.
Total mismatch, best heavyweight In the world against a decent heavyweight, Tyson looked well but he needed to do that wonder who’s next

#Fury looked super sharp, but stop with the homer gushing. #Schwarz would get clowned by Joey Daweyko. #boxing

Fury (28-0-1, 20 KO) retained his lineal claim to the heavyweight championship of the world, if you believe in all that — and boy does ESPN seem to think it’s the greatest thing in the world, but try not to think about how only lineal titles matter the next time they put some lowly beltholder in a main event they want you to watch — and stayed unbeaten.
He said post-fight he expects to return either Sept. 21 or Oct. 5, and that after that he’ll be ready to rematch Deontay Wilder in 2020, provided they both win upcoming bouts.
