Take a look at how the WBSS semifinalists stack up for today’s big card in Glasgow.

This afternoon in Glasgow, we’ve got a pair of big world title fights featuring four undefeated fighters, and both fights are also World Boxing Super Series tournament semifinal matchups.

DAZN in the US, and at 9:00 pm local time on Sky Sports in the UK.

Josh Taylor faces Ivan Baranchyk in the de facto main event, as Taylor is from Scotland so obviously he’s going on last. Here’s how these two match up:

Despite being the titleholder coming into this fight, Baranchyk is the the B-side of the matchup, not just because he’s on the road against Taylor, but Taylor is just generally the higher-regarded fighter. Not by a ton, mind you, but by enough that it’s worth noting.

(Also, I know that’s not the Russian flag. Baranchyk was born in Russia, but considers himself Belarusian.)

In the “co-feature,” Naoya Inoue is in a similar spot: favored but not the titleholder against Emmanuel Rodriguez.

Inoue is largely considered the top bantamweight in the world today (BoxRec have Luis Nery at No. 1 right now), and some have him atop their pound-for-pound lists, too. He has wrecked things up at 108, 115, and now 118, so he’s got the case.
