Fabio Turchi headlines against Sami Enbom today in Florence, Italy, live on DAZN.

Today at 1:30 pm ET streaming live on DAZN, we’ve got fights from Italy, if you can believe it, headlined by a cruiserweight main event between Florence’s own Fabio Turchi and Finland’s Sami Enbom.

Turchi (16-0, 12 KO) is ranked No. 26 in the world by BoxRec, a 6’2” southpaw who is looking for a hometown win to pick up the vacant WBC international title, which would lead to a better ranking and maybe down the line, a world title fight. At 25, Turchi is right in the spot where he can still get better.

Enbom (18-2, 10 KO) is ranked No. 168 in the world by BoxRec, also a southpaw, and has been stopped by Dominic Boesel and Tamas Lodi in his two defeats. After the lost to Boesel in 2017, he moved up to cruiserweight, making the full move up for the loss to Lodi in May of last year.

Turchi-Enbom is set for 12 rounds.

Unbeaten welterweight Alessandro Riguccini (22-0, 18 KO) will also be in action, facing Mexico’s Ivan Alvarez (28-9-1, 18 KO) in another 12 round bout, for the — get this — interim WBC “silver” title, which Riguccini holds. You’ll recall Danny Garcia won the WBC “silver” title against Adrian Granados last weekend in California.

The 31-year-old Riguccini is ranked No. 140 by BoxRec. Alvarez is also 31 and despite the several losses, ranked No. 126 by BoxRec.

The third featured bout on the card pits 34-year-old junior middleweight Orlando Fiordigiglio (30-2, 13 KO) against Stephen Danyo (15-2-3, 6 KO) in a 10-round bout. Danyo is a 30-year-old from the Netherlands with losses to Custio Clayton and Felix Cash. Fiordigiglio’s losses came to Cedric Vitu and Zakaria Attou.
