Whatever Tyson-Jones is gonna be, it’s happening Saturday, plus more on this week’s schedule!

Friday, Nov. 27

DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Daniel Jacobs vs Gabriel Rosado. Jacobs and Rosado have INSTABEEF. Rosado is a solid, hard-working fighter who could have a better record if he hadn’t fought a lot of tough competition, perhaps, and also learned on the job as a pro fighter. His determination and grit has been really admirable over his career, he’s not a quitter, he’s tough as hell, and he’s stuck around and had a good career. But he also never got good enough that he actually beat any of his better opponents. Rosado may well have moments here, win a couple rounds, but Jacobs should be a big favorite to win. The rest of the card has some good prospects in action, plus Emmanuel Tagoe coming back to the U.S. finally to try and make his mark at 135. BLH will have live coverage.

Saturday, Nov. 28

ESPN+, 2:00 pm ET, Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce. Good news for American fans, the recent absence of Queensberry cards on ESPN+ will not extend to this show, which is probably the first one most of you have cared about in a while anyway, which also is probably why ESPN+ have stopped picking up all of them. Dubois and Joyce are both unbeaten heavyweights, but at very different points. Dubois is 23, a rising star, has looked great so far. Joyce is 35, a former Olympic silver medalist, and his time to really do something as a pro is now. The European, British, and Commonwealth titles are on the line. The WBC’s “silver” title is on the line, which if they follow in the tradition of Dillian Whyte the winner will assume makes them mandatory WBC challenger (it does not). Jack Catterall and Hamzah Sheeraz are also in action, among others. BLH will have live coverage.

PPV, 9:00 pm ET, Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr, Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson. You can order the show for $49.99 through FITE TV, who thankfully are handling the ordering and broadcast for “Triller,” the, uh, social media app? I think? The company backing this thing or has their name attached or whatever. I had worries about “Triller” being in charge because it’s not a proven commodity, but I can vouch for FITE TV all the way. Not encouraging you to order, really, just saying if you do or you’re on the fence about it with concerns about the thing even just being streamed properly, FITE are a legitimate service. Badou Jack is also on the card against a club fighter named Blake McKernan, and that Viddal Riley dude is also fighting, maybe, if that holds. Listen, we have no idea what the main event is going to look like. It is an exhibition fight, no matter what Tyson or Jones say or how mad they act when anyone else says it. But we’ll be here. BLH will have live coverage.
