PBC releases their promotional video leading into Wilder’s Nov. 23 title defense.

With WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder set to defend his title against Luis Ortiz in a November 23rd rematch, the two fighters have a sit-down with Brian Campbell to discuss their first meeting and their expectations for the sequel.

When Wilder was asked about what it was like to be in the ring with Ortiz during their first meeting, Wilder said:

“When I was in there I knew I had to strategically move with him. I couldn’t just go do anything. He’s a great counterpuncher. So it really just allowed me to think about what I did before I did it because I knew every time I would punch, he would throw back, he would have a reaction.

“That’s what a champion wanna be up against. That’s what a champion wanna put his belt on the line for. Here I am again, for the second time — many people calling me crazy, they I’m crazy to go in there and fight him again. But maybe so. Maybe’s that’s why my last name’s ‘Wilder.’ I’m looking forward to the second one, it’s gonna be an amazing fight…”
