Wilder says when he speaks, things happen.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder tells Sky Sports that he’s still on his mission to fully unify the division, even if things have gotten a bit more complicated with Anthony Joshua dropping three of his major world titles to Andy Ruiz last summer.

Really, that should make things much easier for Wilder should Ruiz repeat against Joshua — considering they’re both under the PBC banner — but Ruiz will actually have to come through again to establish the path of least resistance for Wilder. And when I write ‘path of least resistance’ I don’t mean inside the ring as much as I mean the politics of putting the fight together.

So feeling confident about where things are headed for him, Wilder ever so eloquently says:

“If all goes well. It ain’t just up to me. But I speak with confidence. I know all things will come to plan. It’s up to other people to get their jobs done but I believe that, when they do, the world is going to see one of the biggest fights of their lives.

”What other man deserved it than I? I am a leader, a king, a ruler. I have power in my tongue. Things come to pass when I speak.”

Wilder is currently slated to once again defend his WBC belt against Luis Ortiz on November 23 in a FOX PPV.
