Deontay Wilder will announce his future plans during a special press conference today.

Today, starting at 12 p.m. ET, Premier Boxing Champions will be live streaming a special press conference where Deontay Wilder will make a ‘major announcement’ regarding his upcoming career plans. You can catch the full live stream above.

At this point we don’t know exactly what Wilder will be announcing, but we do know that it won’t be a new deal with DAZN. ESPN reports that Wilder has turned down two separate offers to join the streaming platform, with one reportedly worth up to $100M, including a couple fights against Anthony Joshua.

One might expect that Wilder must have had at least a comparable offer to turn down that much potential money, but then again, it’s hard to imagine another platform putting that kind of money on the table for Wilder at this point. I suppose we’ll find out soon enough, though.

For now we anticipate that Wilder will be taking on Dominic Breazeale in his next outing, regardless of any network/streaming affiliation.
